Firefighters to Escort St. Nick through Plainsboro
 
Annual Early Visit Scheduled for December 11

Santa Claus is coming to township neighborhoods for an early visit once again this year with a police and fire escort to help him on his way.
 
The Plainsboro Fire Company’s annual “Santa Ride” will take place Friday, December 11.  Rain date will be Friday, December 18.
 
“We’ll be making a scheduled stop in each Plainsboro neighborhood,” said Chief Doug Vorp of the Plainsboro Fire Company.  “That allows us to bring Santa Claus to each development and cover the entire township.”
 
Santa’s itinerary has 38 stops in 27 neighborhoods.  The schedule with approximate times for each stop can be accessed at www.plainsborofire.com. Signs will also be posted at each stop.
 
Because the scheduled stop times are approximate, Vorp recommended residents arrive at the stop early and be prepared for a possible late arrival.  In the event inclement weather or a major emergency causes a postponement, changes will also be posted at www.plainsborofire.com.
